I have a user who recieves from his supervisor Excel docs with screen shots pasted inside of them. However, he is unable to see the screen shots. Is there a setting some where that would allow him to view this particular graphic format? I know that sometimes people are unable to open certain graphics or drawing files while other recipients can. What us the solutions to this? -- K. Wade D.
  • 2. Printing TIF Documents
Hi, I recently had Xp installed in my computer. I was using Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) to open and print TIF documents and everything was fine. Now when I try to print a document, it prints the entire page on the top-right hand corner. Do I need an additional driver or are my setting incorrect. I can use other programs to open and print the file and everything comes out correct, but I want to use MODI because it is quicker. Thanks in advance for your help. TC
  • 3. Converting Office 2003 PST files to Office XP
I saved all of my Office 2003 PST files for use on a new computer. The new computer has Office XP and can not open the files. I understand that it is possible (if you have access to Office 2003) to save PST files in an older format, but what do you do if you don't have access to Office 2003 any more? Is there a simple update for Office XP that modifies your import/export/open capability to include Office 2003?

I am trying to set up my Vodaafone Samsung Z500 so that I can read Hotmail emails when on the road. However, it appears that Hotmail doesn't provide a POP3 or IMAP4 server. One of these is necessary for setting up the Samsung Z500. Any insights on how I get round this one? Thanks.

When I try to print a file that was imported to MS Document Imaging, the the image printed is slightly smaller that what it should be. I have selected print to actual size, but the printout is still not fitting the form correctly. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Cannot Unload/Repair Office 2003

** XP Pro SP2 + Office 2003 Basic SP2 **
I have a problem with Excel: CLK print and Excel crashes - no error number.
Repair/detect will not work on any Office product. Original disk (for repair)
will not work because it has SP2. When trying to unload from "Add/Remove
Programs", it asks "Are you sure?", I click yes, it disappears and nothing
happens. I am stuck. SP2 will not reload.

4.Cannot repair office 2003 installation

I have Office 2003 installed (from CD drive). I need to
run the detect and repair procedure or I need to remove
Office entirely and start over. If I use D/R or run the
setup.exe from the CD it now gives an error message:
1701 Invalid Drive D:\

Just for the recond, I had my hard drive partitioned into
C and D and ran out of space on C so I used
PartitionMagic 8 to move all the files, etc and to
combine the two partitions back into just one physical
drive c: So there is no D drive anymore.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to get around the drive D
problem so I can either remove/reinstall Office 2003 or
to run the detect and repair procedure?
