can't get single space, all documents will only do double space

Postby cm9iZ291dmVy » Wed, 19 Sep 2007 00:56:02 GMT

I bought Office Home and Student 2007 from Staples. All documents, no matter
what font I use will only double space. I can't get anything to single
space. When I go into adjust the space, it is set at single space. I have
not been able to use this software because of this. No computer store can
help me, they don't know why.

I have this happen to me sometimes and what works is to check what has been
set for the "normal" style. This tends to happen when I have inserted text
that someone else has typed in another document. It always clears when I use
"normal" and make sure that it is set at single space, then I pick what font
I want it to be. Hope this helps.

1.Outlook email changes spacing from single space to double space

When composing message (using Word as the default), the single space will
change to double space when I send the email. In other words, when I want to
show a single space between paragraphs, I get a double space when I hit "Send"

2.Body changes from single space to double space?

 NewTask.Body = ns.GetItemFromID(PTI_Form.ListAdHocReq.Value).SentOn & vbCrLf
& vbCrLf & _
        ns.GetItemFromID(PTI_Form.ListAdHocReq.Value).Body

This is the line I use to copy the body of an email to the body of a task.
In the email the body text is single space. When it gets copied to the Task
it is doulbe spaced.

Is there a way to keep the text single spaced in the new Task?

Thanks

don't see an option for this in Outlook. I can paste into
Notepad, copy and then paste into Outlook, but I would
