  • 1. convert tiff image to a jpeg file?
Is there any way to convert tiff to jpeg and save it? Have tried to download programs that claim to do this, yet none give any option to save any work ( 'save' button greyed out). Even asking the question above of microsoft tells me I have misspelled the words! - or to use simpler words! thanks
  • 2. Why won't office 2007 install?
I get the following "setup error" at the start of installation: "Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run setup again from the original source disc or download location." However, I am using the original source disk - sent straight to me from Redmond under Microsoft's Home Use Program. It turns out the my computer came with a trial version of office 2007 that I didn't even know about. I uninstalled this version, but the problems still persists. Maybe this has something to do with me trying to change the location of my data files by following this advice: "Change the Public folder locations in the registry. Run regedit and change the values within HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell Folders" Please help - I am very frustrated that I can't even install this software

  • 4. printing word 2003
I have a printer lexmark 83. When I print in Microsoft Office 2003 I get the regular screen for printing then I always get a screen showing Control Program which a sound says your document is being printed. After my document is printed I get the Filename;Directory;Template;Title;subject;Author; Keywords;Comments;Creation Date; Change Number; Last Saved On; Last Saved By; Total Editing Time; Last Printed On; As of Last complete Printing; Number of Pages; Number of Words; Number of Characters. I don't know how to take that Control Program out. I tried everything in the printing menu and has looked in your discussion group and cannot find anything. I really would appreciate taking that screen out. I thank you for your support yolypoly

You need to do your installation while logged on with Administration
privileges.

Hi Bob, I am the administrator. Ended up checking on MS error page to look at
fix and changed the Registry to Everyone. Had a few hiccups but eventually
got it to go. So works OK. Thanks

2.Upgrading from Office 2003 (student teacher edition) to Office 200

Hello,

Approximately what would be the cost of upgrading my Office 2003 (student
teacher edition) to Office 2007 Professional ?

Is it worthwile to switch over to 2007 professional yet ?

I have registered version of Office 2003, but ended up with problems...
Winword.exe never turns up in the list of recommended programs (I tried all
the possibilities provided as suggestions in this forum, but without luck). I
even re-installed office, but without luck on this front too..

Let me know.

Regards,.
Sidd

3.Upgrade Office XP Pro French with Office 2003 Pro US upgrade

Hello,
I have moved to the US last year and I would like to upgrade my version of
office. I bought my copy in France. It is a version XP Pro French. I would
like to know if I can upgrade my Office with a version 2003 pro upgrade that
I would buy in a store like Best Buy. Will there be some issue because of the
difference of languages? I am a home user.
Thank you,
Mike.

4.Office Pro 2002 upgrade to Office Pro 2003 upgrade

I have Office 2002 professional and like the new version of Office Pro 2003
better, if I buy the 2003 Professional upgrade will it upgrade a version of
Office 2002 Professional?

Thanks in advance.

5.Upgrading MS Office 2003 SME with MS Office 2003 Pro Upgrade Disk

I bought an Office 2003 Pro upgrade disk a couple of years back. A new user
has just started at the company with a Vista Business laptop running Office
2003 SME. I have both disks and packages and licence keys. Yet the Upgrade
will not recognise the SME version. (it won't even recognise an Office 97
Pro disk for that matter) and throws and error before aborting.

Can anyone advise if this is a function of Vista Business, or Office SME.
For the record all my other users were upgraded from Office 97 Pro to 2003
pro via the same method without hitch (on XP pro). I have downloaded Office
2003 SP3 in readiness, assuming I can get the soft3ware to upgrade in the
first place.
Any thoughts, please?
