  • 2. how do I permanently expand the pull down menu's to show all optio
Someone decided to show me only those options I have previously selected when I roll-over or pull down any menu. For example, when in Word, if I select File, I will not see all the options, I see only those I have previously chosen. I do not like this and want to disable this contraction option. Anyone know how?
  • 3. bogus warning from Microsoft
I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I recently moved into a new home and connected to the internet thru verizon. My computer had been in storage for 6 months. Bingo I get a message that says the office copy is registered on another computer. Before moving I ran Office for about a year on the only computer this have been loaded on. The dialog box opens asking if I want to register via internet or phone so I click internet. I get the "other computer" message and asked to click Yes if I want instructions how to correct the situation. I'm now sent into a loop back to the original dialog box. I select phone and call the 888 number which is a FAX. I then call the international 716 number and go thru the voice recognition questions about the wizard. The robot then says it will connect me to a CS rep but instead cuts me off. The online CS about Office says an email costs $35. How can I get this problem resolved without having to pay? It might have to do with the new modem.
  • 4. How do I clear Not Available from Office 2007 setup dialog
When I did my first installation, I marked Outlook as "Not Available" to block installation on the test machine. This meant that Outlook 2003 remained. Now I am ready to try Oulokk 2007 but I cannot clear "Not Available" from the update dialog. I presume that this setting is stored in the registry or in the update folder but I cannot find the setting. Can anyone help? Ray Roche Canberra Australia XXXX@XXXXX.COM

Hello,
My hard drive went on my old computer, so I purchased a new one. I
want to install my copy of MS office XP standard for students and
teachers (version 2002) but I can't find the installation CD but I do
have the Product Key. Is there any way I can get another copy with
proof of purchase (Product Key)?

Thanks Bob

3.Computer virus - lost product key for original Office XP Standard

We recently had a virus on our computer, and had to have our computer
repaired. During the repair, only the data files were kept since we had all
of our original software. Our computer was custom built, and we were given
all of the original software (in flimsy envelopes). To protect our CD, I took
it out of the envelope, and put it in a hard CD case. However, somehow, I
have misplaced the envelope that had the product key code on it! UGH!!! Now I
am left to reinstall Office XP 2002, but do not have my original product key
code. HELP! Is there anything I can do? Our machine was built in 2002, and I
have tried to contact the company who built our machine, but have not gotten
any response. I'm not even sure they're still in business. I will never again
have a custom built machine!!!
