I am a teacher at a school for blind students. If I type information and put it on a "thumb drive", it can be put into a machine which will print Braille. But I don't know what to do to put this information on the "thumb drive" which I have purchased. Please help me. (I need very explicit directions.) Thank you.
  • 2. Opening a new window with an Office program
When I open more than one window of either Word or Excel, the second window goes off the screen and no matter what I try I cannot get it to show properly. I end up closing and re-opening until it opens correctly. Has anyone else experienced this? There are two of us at work that experience this on an intermittent basis, but it is severly annoying. Any insight would be beneficial. Thanks.
  • 3. How do I create a data-entry form?
I have about 10 different documents that use for each of my clients who i send various of their clients letters. I know there has got to be someway to set it up so that I can have all 10 pages in one saved document and use a command like F3 or something and data entry the information and print out which client that it corresponds to... but how do I get started? I tried a mail merge but I seem to be driving away from what I need done. If I am close to explaining what I need, please let me know... I am at a lost right now. Thank you. Vanessa

Getting ready to order new laptop with MS Works 9.0 and want to upgrade to MS Office Standard 2007. Was told that I can purchase 2007 Office Standard upgrade since I previously had a licensed copy of MS Office 2000 Pro on another computer. How does this type of upgrade work as far as installation is concerned? Do you simply install the 2007 upgrade and somewhere during the installation process you are prompted and asked for product key of Office 2000?
  • 5. Does anyone know where to find Physician progress note templates?
I am a physician converting to EMR (electronic medical records). I have been using voice recognitin for years, and I would like to download some progress note templates to mess around with in MS Office before deciding on a vendor and committing to a huge EMR purchase. Any help/info about template availability, either from Microsoft, a MS Partner, or another vendor would sure help me out. Thanks! Dr. Gene

Yes, Office 97 will work with the Windows XP operating system, but some users
report problems installing or updating Office 97 after WinXP SP2 is
installed. You might have to uninstall WinXP SP2, install Office 97 and
related service packs, and then reinstall WinXP SP2.

This is a problem with the XP Home installation. The "autoexec.nt" file
has been corrupted, typically by some malware. There are numerous
messages about it over in the WindowsXP.general group with the specific fix.
