  • 1. SmartArt Heirarchy Problems
    I'm trying to create a kind of flow heirarchy in smartart. I start off with one superior then break down to multiple subordinates. The problem I have is connecting multiple superiors to a single subordinate. I was easily able to do this in 2003 by adding additional connectors. However, I can't seem to figure out how to do this on 2007 with smartart. Thank you for your help!! -- mduttl University of Massachusetts Accounting and Information Systems
  • 2. Trial Version will not accept Product Key
    I have downloaded the trial version of MS Office 2007 Pro. When prompted to enter the key, I have cut/pasted it several times and typed it out several times, but I get the message that "The key is incorrect. Verify that you have the correct key and retype it." I have requested new keys and tried those, but still get the same message. I called MS Support, and said that they don't have any support for that issue right now. Is there anything else I can do?
  • 3. office 2003 products won't initiate
    When I try to open an office 2003 program I get this application error. The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application. This began happening after we had to reset the computer to the original factory settings (some files were accidently erased) and then reinstall the program. How can I fix this problem?
  • 4. The installation source for this product is unavailable
    I have Office 2003 Professional on my laptop. I was recently receiving an error message when opening Excel, so I tried to run "detect and repair". I received the following error message: "The installation source for this product is unavailable. Verify that the source exists and you can access it." Now I find I can't modify the installation or even remove the installation. Does anyone know how to work around this problem????

I have a Org. Chart created in Word 2000. After our Upgrade the chart is 
presented
up-side down;  However if you double-click a position it show right-side up.

Hi, Larry.  See  http://www.**--****.com/ "Pictures in 
documents that were created in an earlier version of Office appear flipped in

When I use Word 2003 to open an existing Word document created in an earlier 
version (Office 97 - Word), the Header and Footer are displayed upside down. 
Both the text and graphics are flipped and there does not seem to be any way

3.Word 2003 prints envelopes upside down 

It doesn't matter if I set clockwise rotation - they still print upside 
down. This is a problem because we use a shared Canon 2200 printer with the 
entire office. Those who still have prior word versions.. xp, 97, 2000 need 
to print envelopes also so we can't just change the way the envelopes feed 
in the printer. Everything was fine office-wide until we upgraded six 
computers with office 2003 - now those six computers will only print the 
envelopes upside down (clockwise rotation does nothing). I found one article 
on the knowledge base ID 211971 that applies to a Hewlett-Packard printer 
with a similar problem. Ours is a Canon multi-purpose Imagerunner 2200. I 
see no article on this problem with this printer. It must be a problem 
specific to the printer and word 2003. There are no driver upgrades for the 
printer - we are using the most current driver. In an office of 36 realtors 
who all use the envelope drawer daily this has now become a huge problem for 
us. We thought of designating a second drawer for envelopes that are fed the 
opposite way but we can't spare a drawer for that. Any suggestions or help I 
would appreciate. Thanks, John

5.Why does Visio graphics prints backward/upside down in Word 2003 

When I copy a drawing that was modified in Visio and then copy/paste it into 
Word2003, the printer prints the graphic upside down and backward.

In the preview mode, it looks OK.  

I've tried to insert it as a picture (windows metafile) but printout still 
updown and backward.
