1.Can mailing list in Works 4.5 be moved into Access
I have 2 mailing lists totalling together nearly 400 names, in a Works 4.5
for Windows 95 data base. I could add about 1300 more from an Excel list
offered to me, but I do not have Excel in my computer. I read, I think on
the MS website, that Access is the best program for mailing lists. I am
willing to buy Access. Could the Works 4.5 list be transferred into Access?
Could the Excel list be read in Access and merged with the list from Works
4.5? Would it take great expertise to do this, or could an average computer
user do it?
I now use Windows XP in my computer.

3.Can not install Microsoft Works V 4.5
I have an old copy of MS Works ver 4.5 that I am trying to
install on my new computer. I was previously installed on
my old computer of which I no longer have access to the
hard drive. It is requestion the registration ID which is
with the original certificate of registration and I have
no idea where that book is today. Does anyone have any
ideas on how to install MS Works without the Registration
number?

4.Activesync 4.5, Outlook 2007 not syncing, says not installed
Others seem to have had the same problem, yet I can't find a solution. I am
running a Thinkpad R50e, XP Pro SP2, Office 2007, and Activesync 4.5 and Axim
X3i. I use this at home and at work but not connected to my work domain in
any way. Until I upgraded to Office 2007 everything was fine. Using the
office2007 pre-release it was fine. Once we purchased the new licenses and
reinstalled, Activesync would say Outlook was not installed.
I have tried everything - uninstall AS, uninstall Office - and then
reinstall. I've wiped my Axim and reinstalled.
Anything to do with outlook no longer works - contacts, tasks, calendar
etc... if I unselect all those items I can sync (ie: Audible and AvantGo,
backup file transfers etc...)
I've also tried fixmapi as suggested elsewhere. No luck.
Is there a manual way I can link the PPC to Outlook and sync? everything is
installed in default directories as well. There must be a registry key
somewhere that is pointing to the wrong location for Outlook. HELP?!?
5.How to convert Office Mobile Word docx files to RTF using Activesync 4.5
I've decided to experiment with using Activesync 4.5.0 (build 5096) to send
my Word mobile documents from my HTC TyTN II (Windows Mobile 6 device) to my
desktop in rtf format. The problem is that AS 4.5 doesn't list docx files as
a file type it can convert. Instead something called 'Pocket Word Document'
with a psw extension is the 'word' format listed.
Can someone please advise how this works. TIA.
