  • 3. Reenstalling Microsoft Standard Edition 2007
Good day everyone, I am in DESPERATE need of some ones help if at all possable. I uninstalled my 2007 standard edition with the intention of using the disk and product key that came with it when I bought it. However, I can not get my CD/DVD reader to read the disk. I tried to open/explore the drive to get to the set up program. However, when I try that the disk ejects and I am told to insert a disk. I bought the disk from our PX, now sure if it really matters or not but it is the military appreciation edition. I just assumed that as long as I kept the disk and of course the product key, I could simpy reenstall. Well obviously that did not work out to well for me. I am in desperate need of this because of my reports I have to complete for work and rely on it daily. I also tried to search the microsoft website in an attempt to see if I could enter and verify that i indeed have a legal copy to see if I could download it fromt the site. Again no luck. I looked at simply purchasing another copy but at over $300.00 dollars I simply can not afford it and they do not have anymore at the PX. PLEASE any help, assistance and advice anyone can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Grady XXXX@XXXXX.COM

I have a form template with repeating tables published to a WSS Form Library.
The form can be filled out an saved to the library without error. The
problem occurs when viewing the form in the the library after the save. The
data that is populated by the repeating table is missing. Please HELP!!!

Hi G.,

You may want to use the link below to also post this in the MS Office Infopath newsgroup and include there information on whether
this is the case with any form or just this specific Infopath form.

1.2 separate issues with Infopath 2003 SP2 and Sharepoint 2003

I have this infopath form that works pretty well but I seem to have
issues with publishing the form and data when I'm filling out the
form.
Problem 1. Publishing the form from my desktop to our dev Sharepoint
2003. No errors. The form library is created properly but when I click
on the "Fill out this form" I get an error that the template.xsn is
either invalid or missing.

( I got around this issue by having a system admin publish the form).

Problem 2. Clickint on the "Fill out this form", I enter all the data
and hit submit. No errors. BUT, my form is never uploaded to the form
library. Other users can use this form with no issues.

Additional Info:
I have been given all possible roles in the site that this form
library resides. My guess is that this is a permissioning issue but no
one here seems to know what.

Thanks

2.Run a macro in Word from InfoPath's custom WSS task pane

Here's the situation:

In WSS I've created a custom content type and created a custom document
template (including a macro called UpdateLogo).
Next I've created a custom document information pane with InfoPath.

I see that it's possible to add custom code to be run after the field has
been updated. Now my question is:

Can we somehow trigger the macro saved in Word from the task pane? (for
example when user changes the value of a dropdown list)

3.InfoPath 2003 SP2 Error

4.InfoPath 2003 SP2 - Deployment into a Citrix Env.

I have a Citrix MetaXP environment where we have deployed citrix. InfoPath
2003 SP2 is deployed and executes perfectly fine for a user. We have a
series of forms which are using InfoPath 2003 VSTO 2005. They are intalled
to a shared directory on the server.

When executing the infopath against the fully trusted form, from within the
Citrix desktop, it executes fine for the user account which ran the MSI. The
MSI was executed from install mode with the setting for all users. However,
for other users the forms do not execute. They give an error that the form
is not trusted.

When executing from a Portal Part against the share, the form thinks that it
is remote (not local to the server) and says that it is attempting to execute
from a location other than where it was registered.

Have any of you out there did a fully trusted form deployment in a Citrix
environment? Any thoughts or ideas?

5.Infopath 2003 SP1 --> SP2

Does anyone know if one were to upgrade to the SP2 if all subsequent
form users would have to be upgraded too or is just the form designer's
version ok to upgrade? I have forms designed in SP1 but want to upgrade
to SP2 to take advantage of the new features but it is difficult to
have everyone upgraded?

Thanks
