  • 3. Office 2003 XP
I have recently come upon a mail merge problem. The merge was created in Word, I also created a labels file and saved. The labels file was sent to another person, they could not open the file. What happened? Also wanted to take it to excel and save it there, I could not locate an import/export file. Is the norm for Office 03 home edition (Perhaps I should get the office version?).
  • 4. customize the "open" window
I use office 03 - on some programs (notably powerpoint) when using the Open icon from the menu bar or from the "file" drop down list ... I get an open window that opens to the Preview view .... and always opens "My Documents" folder first... How can I change this to a a default of the Details view and a folder other than My Documents??

After one of the most recent Microsoft automatic updates, my (Office) Picture Manager seems to take quite a bit longer to start up than it used to. Any connection to the update? Any remedy available?

Microsoft System Office 2003 requires Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service
Pack 3 (SP3), Microsoft Windows XP, or a later operating system. Windows
2000 has IE 5.x.
