My computer was on the fritz so I re-formatted everything and went back to factory default. When I tried re-installing Office, which I paid a good chunk of money for, the CD was now blank. Is there a reason for this?

Picture It! Premium 10 This is a new program that I'm trying to do biz cards on, I can't remember what the old MS program was that I formerly used, but don't recall having this problem. I've got the cards designed and ready to print, but can't print them...because I can't seem to find any biz card sheets that have the same numbers as the templates listed in this program. Very frustrating. Why wouldn't anyone carry compatible sheets for this new program? What am I doing wrong here?
  • 3. How do I activate Office on a new computer?
Recently, my computer crashed, so they wiped my entire hard drive. However, when I went to go and try to reinstall Office it said that it had been registered on another computer already and the phone number it gave me to activate by phone is not working. How can I activate it easily and free?
  • 4. Users can't change "Recently Opened Files"
We have a setup where Office 2003 is installed locally on workstations. The users do a "domain" logion onto the workstation. They are unable to change the setting under "Tools\Options\General" for Word or Excel. It is unchecked and grayed out. If I log on as a domain administrator, it is set correctly for me. Obviously, there is a permission (or domain GPO setting) that is preventing the user from modifying it. I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me how I could either find the file that is involved and set the permissions appropriately or go into it as administrator and set it the way we want. -- Regards, Hank Arnold

I recently bought a new computer and when I went to install Office 2003 it
asked for the product code and of course I don't have the original box with
the key. Is there any way I can get a new product key? I am currently living
outside the United States and am desperate to get Office 2003 on my new
computer.

Was the program installed on another computer before you attempted to
install on the new one? If so, and you or someone else still has access to
the old computer with the program still installed, you can obtain the Office
2003 product key by using this program: key finder from
 http://www.**--****.com/

Otherwise, follow Tom's advice.
