  • 1. Has anyone had problems downloading Microsoft Office Student Teac.
I'm having a heck of a time with downloading Microsoft Office 2003 Student Teacher Edition. When the installation process did not appear to to be active, I attempted to cancel and was unable to. Before I attempted to cancel the installation process I tried to register online and to update I then received an error report(s)! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm unable to cut my computer off. Is this because the installation process is still in progress? Help!

  • 3. Office 2003 EE Problem
I installed Office 2003 EE on my machine, updated to SP2 and applied the most recent updates. Now whenever I double click on a file ( i.e. .xls, .doc) it doesn't open the application but if I open the application first then double click on the file it opens perfectly. I checked all the file associations and they look fine. What is the cause? Dave

  • 5. Missing Help Files on Office XP
The Help Files first went missing when I had Office 2000 re-installed on my work PC ages ago. F1 would bring up a blank Help window, nothing more. No error messages, just blankness. The Help Desk pushed Office XP to my machine yesterday; still a blank Help Window. The Help Desk pushed the installation image to my Desktop (I already have Admin rights, except for being able to edit my own registry) so that I could control my own install options (after removing the old installation and rebooting), and I still get nothing but a blank Help window. As per 239913, I do not have multiple toolbars of any kind docked anywhere, and not even my Taskbar is set to Auto-Hide. 205499 is not the problem, I'm not working with a network drive or a external disk of any type. I've covered everything in 237355 (except regedit), and still nothing. Help?

When you use the word "we" that implies you speak for other people or that
you have friends. I'm sure that neither is the case with a miserable c*unt
like yourself.Oh... and who the f are you to say who can post here? NO ONE
thats who.

5.original office CD-Rom is lost

Hi,
I want to install more up to date office suite on a friend's PC. All I
can see already installed on her system is Microsoft Word 97 only and
she has lost her original CD for this so I cannot uninstall it. Now I
understand that if I try to install say Office 2000 without
uninstalling previous Office program there may be a conflict - is this
right? Would I be able to install Office XP without problems? (She has
Windows 98 and lots of spare hard drive space available). What can I
do when old CD lost? many thanks.
