  • 1. upgrading 2k to XP... what about Frontpage 2k?
I currently use Office 2000 pro that includes Frontpage. I bought a new Office 2002 but it does not have FP 2002. I don't want to buy a new Frontpage, as what litle I use Frontpage, 2k does just fine. If I load my new XP ontop of my old 2k version... A) Will I be able to update the XP version with all service packs w/o all these FP errors I've been reading. B) Will my Frontpage 2k continue to work and update w/o problem? thanks

  • 3. IE Script errors in XP with SP3
I'm running XP professional with IE 6.02 and I recently installed SP3. I keep getting script errors (operation is not allowed when the object is closed) when reading .chm files. I can continue if I click to make the error screen go away. I've tried disabling script debugging and turning of debug notification in Explorer, but it doesn't seem to help. Windows Update tells me my system needs no critical updates. Any ideas? Its really annoying. Thanks for any help Garry

Outlook 2003 isn't polling

Installing Office Outlook 2003 on a fresh install of Windows XP SP2, Outlook
isn't polling against the Exchange Server.

2.Poll: Ease of Upgrading to Outlook 2003?

Am using Outlook 2002 (XP) on a WinXP PC. Just ordered the new MS Office
2003 Professional with Outlook 2003 including Business Contact Manager BCM.

Would like to know user experiences...is the upgrade fast and and painless?
Are there any files I need to save as backups (like outlook.pst) in case it
fails and dumps everything?

Thanks,
George

3.Outlook 2003 does not auto poll/auto send/receive email

I have Outlook 2003 running on XP. I was auto-receiving email fine,
and no longer can. My auto-receive settings are all checked in the
send/receive groups. But, whenever I save/close those settings, I
don't get the mail. When I check the send/receive, it has defaulted to
"disable." I never check anything that would disable it. I've tried
outlook repair, and reloading all profiles and reloading outlook,
without any success. Any clues???

4.[2003] Not polling server as instructed

I have just had to reinstall Office due to a corrupt PST that simply refused
to die.Everything is working fine now, except for one thing. I have set
Outlook back up to send/receive every 10 minutes, and it isn't. I have it
minimised to the systray (whoops 'notification area'! ;o)) and the little
double envelopes haven't appeared in an hour, nor has there been any drive
activity.

SP1 and all subsequent updates are installed. OS is XP Pro with SP2.

Any clues...? Or is more info needed...?

Thanks
