  • 2. chaining the MUI after the Office 2003 install
Hi, I have a central Office 2003 install point with several CMWs that do different things, so I'm not using SETUP.INI. What I'm wondering about is how to effectively chain the MUI after the Office install. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks, Craig
  • 3. Office 2003 SP3 Update - Cannot Boot
Upon turning my computer on after completing the Office 2003 SP3 update, my computer fails to boot. The specific message says "No boot device available." Going into the boot sequence within the BIOS setup utility (Dell) lists five devices (onboard or USB floppy, onboard SATA, onboard IDE, onboard or USB CD, and USB device). All five of them or "not present", though. Does any one have any suggestions?

1.Just upgraded to Vista Macros unstable

When trying to run my well established macro driven applications on a
new vista computer I get problems with functions like Right, SendKeys
(to name just two) needing the prefix Application.
ie. Application.Right( etc. or Application.Sendkeys etc. prefixed
to stop them crashing the macro. After a torturous path to get Vista
up and running all my programs this is all I DON'T need.....

Any help to fix this, short of rewriting too many to count Excel
programs, would be very much appreciated.

2.Outlook is unstable after upgrade to Win XP Pro

I have been running Office XP for a couple of years on Win 2k platform. I
recently upgraded to Win XP Pro, and now my Outlook has become unstable. It
will "grey out" after a couple of seconds even if I'm typing something. I
have tried reinstalling Office to no avail. All my software is up to date as
I run Update regularly. Any ideas?

4.Microsoft Office Live Workspace and Office Live Small Business

Does anyone have any experience hosting an Access 2007 FE/BE database on
Microsoft Office Live Workspace or Office Live Small Business?
My users would like a web-based version of their database and I would like
to hear comments from people who tried it and what their recommendations
are.
Thanks,

5.Upgrade Office 2003 to 2007, Live Meeting problem

The computer had office 2003 and Live Meeting 2005 with the additional
plug-in to outlook to schedule live meetings. The computer was upgraded to
Office 2007. Two issues: user no longer received new emails; user received
error "An error occurred while executing this command..." when scheduling a
live meeting.

Fixing the receiving email was easy (send receive settings). I've tried
running a fix on the live meeting 2005 add-in for outlook but I still see the
error.
