I ran a TrendMicro scan that resulted in this MS Security Bulletin MS06-039 alert with "Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office Filters Could Allow Remote Code Execution (915384)". Would this be or not be a false positive detection? As a safety measure, I also ran an update check on my MS Office to see if there any updates needed. The MS TechNet site recommended a slew of Tested Software and Security Updates Download Locations. But if the MS OfficeOnline did not detect any shortcomings, what is the real issue here? I am not sure what SP I am at either. Thanks.....

I am getting ready to build a computer for a customer and I have one OEM version of Office SBE 2003 left. Can the customer upgrade for free to Office 2007 Small Business? I would like to use this OEM Office 2003 before I start using the new OEM 2007 Office SBE software. What are my options or my customer's options if I load the 2003 version?

1.Just upgraded to Vista Macros unstable

When trying to run my well established macro driven applications on a
new vista computer I get problems with functions like Right, SendKeys
(to name just two) needing the prefix Application.
ie. Application.Right( etc. or Application.Sendkeys etc. prefixed
to stop them crashing the macro. After a torturous path to get Vista
up and running all my programs this is all I DON'T need.....

Any help to fix this, short of rewriting too many to count Excel
programs, would be very much appreciated.

2.Outlook is unstable after upgrade to Win XP Pro

I have been running Office XP for a couple of years on Win 2k platform. I
recently upgraded to Win XP Pro, and now my Outlook has become unstable. It
will "grey out" after a couple of seconds even if I'm typing something. I
have tried reinstalling Office to no avail. All my software is up to date as
I run Update regularly. Any ideas?

4.Microsoft Office Live Workspace and Office Live Small Business

Does anyone have any experience hosting an Access 2007 FE/BE database on
Microsoft Office Live Workspace or Office Live Small Business?
My users would like a web-based version of their database and I would like
to hear comments from people who tried it and what their recommendations
are.
Thanks,

5.Upgrade Office 2003 to 2007, Live Meeting problem

The computer had office 2003 and Live Meeting 2005 with the additional
plug-in to outlook to schedule live meetings. The computer was upgraded to
Office 2007. Two issues: user no longer received new emails; user received
error "An error occurred while executing this command..." when scheduling a
live meeting.

Fixing the receiving email was easy (send receive settings). I've tried
running a fix on the live meeting 2005 add-in for outlook but I still see the
error.
