I just installed it on my new computer. What other updates are necessary for me to download? The only secuirty update was dated 9/04 and I remember reading something in the paper this week that MS put out an update to correct something that was wrong in that download which makes me hesitant to download it. Suggestions are greatly appreciated since I am currently not real savvy about all of these details.

I currently have Office 2000 SP-3. What is the differences in that version I currently have and Office 2003? Are there any other updates for me or is the next thing I would have is Office 2003? I do not know if it is worth it to upgrade. How much would it be to buy the upgrade to Office 2003? I would need it for all the computers in the office (6).

I have Office 2003 but also have Frontpage 2002/XP. Office Update shows me that I should install the entire 56MB OfficeXP SP3 even though I only have the one Frontpage XP product. To get the updates I need for Frontpage, will I have to install this? Will it cause any problems with my 2003 programs?

Peter,

I don't believe this will work. The Microsoft downloads seem to integrate
themselves into the software in a way that doesn't provide access to what has
been downloaded. If you'll remember the download didn't have a "Save" option
during the process.

Also, per my previous answer to a pos titled "Download of office2003-sp2 is
over 2.5 hours, i want a CD-rom":

I totally agree with the original post. Posting a Service Pack (in my case
I
need both SP 1 & 2) without providing an option for obtaining the CD, and not
indicating any future availability on CD (as Don MI provides in his answer)
shows very little concern for the time of those who are led to believe that
their only option is the download.

The full file (not the one via office update) on a cd will work fine, if
someone who has broadband can download it for you.

Hi Tom,

Thanks so much for the link. It may come in handy for smaller downloads,
but not this one at 102 Mb max.
