  • 1. Web browser for m515 w/bluetooth card and cell phone as modem
I just purchased a Palm Bluetooth card on eBay, and am trying to use it in an m515 to enable web browsing using my cell phone (e815 on Verizon) as a modem via DUN. I can get the handheld to connect to the cell phone fine. In the connection prefs I've told the handheld that the phone is a Motorola TP280, and that initialization string seems to work (if anyone has a better profile to use, please let me know). In the network prefs, I've set it to Dialup Connection, with User Name qnc, no password, Connection is Motorola Phone, and phone is #777. When I try to use the WAP browser, however, it doesn't work (won't open any sites). I suspect that this is because I haven't filled in any settings in Options: Gateway Settings. It prompts me for a Gateway Server (right now it says 0.0.0.0), a Gateway ID, and a Gateway password. What settings should go here, and/or where do I find them. In the alternative, if I load a web browser program on the Palm, can I bypass this? If so, what web browser can you recommend? I've heard that Blazer is good, but I can't find a place to purchase it (and don't know if it will work with this Palm OS 4.1 device). Thanks for any help. Is there a website that will tell me which apps can be run from an SD card on my Treo 650?

Anyone have any suggestions on a wallet for a Zire 31? I'm looking for something to replace my normal wallet, so credit card and cash slots are a must. Thx!

I've been trying to get the "Our Man Flint" (recently from Austin Powers)
ringtone on my treo600. There are various MIDI and other versions, but
they just don't sound like it. I've only been able find a WAV version that
sounds like it.

Now, I've been able to play other WAV files on my Treo600, but for
some reason, all the OMF WAV files I have won't play on it.

Has anyone been able to put a WAV file on their Treo as a ringtone,
and has anyone succeeded in getting a "real" OMF ringtone on it?

TIA!

Mark
