  • 1. Which is the best PDA?
Friends, I would love to buy a new PDA which must support the following as standard and, or in-built (the later is better) features: 1. WiFi connectivity 2. BlueTooth connectivity 3. IrDA connectivity 4. USB port and optionally an Ethernet connectivity, if possible. Suggestions and, or pointers of yours shall highly be appreciated. Thanks, -- Dr Balwinder Singh Dheeman
  • 2. 3 Outlook pst files in two different folders - can't figure them out
Using PocketPC 2003 with Outlook 2002, I find pst files in two different folders. Outlook.pst is found in Profiles with an old date (7/16/05). In Local Settings are Outlook.pst and Outlook1.pst, with dates 8/19/05 and 8/20/05 respectfully. If I renamed a file to Outlook1, it was so long ago I can't remember doing so, but why would the dates for the two differntly named pst files be so close to the same? I haven't yet figured out how to determine the name and location of the pst file that opens when I open Outlook. Is there any way to know? TIA
  • 3. Looking for PDA recomendation
I want to replace my Toshiba e740. Why? It is too slow, specially with my new GPS Pharos GPS kit. Also (I think this is a Microsoft fault) it confuses my CF and SD cards. I need a PDA with slots for CF and SD card and good battery life. Which one do you recommend? Thanks, Zalek
  • 4. can't install ActiveSync!
I have a new installation of WinXP. After 5 days of installation, getting the settings from the old machine, etc, etc, I went to install ActiveSynch to hook up my PDA. It won't install. It copies all of the files to the Temp directory and then, just at the point where Installshield should "guide you through the installation process", it stops. Nothing more happens. I have tried downloading and installing the latest Windows installer, different versions of Activesync, the program on CD, or by download, etc, etc. I have been working on this for about 6 hours today and am no further ahead! Can anyone helm me??? Lin
