  • 1. Paze Setup change for all new presentations
I have been trying to find a way to change default settings for all new presentations I make with PowerPoint (XP). I've created a blank.pot file as addviced in the Help of PowerPoint, but it doesn't help. I also made some new Desing Templates but this setting doesn't change even if I apply desing to another presentation. I just have to change the settings manually every time. I want slides to be sized for A4 Paper (210x297 mm) and now all the presentations (which I haven't changed manually) are sized for On-screen Show. (File - Paze Setup... - Slides sized for:) Has anyone had the same difficulties? I would really appreciate some help.

I am trying to protect a Power Point from being distributed. I cannot find
"Permissions" under the file tab. Where is it?

1.i am having trouble opening powerpoint files on websites

i just downloaded windows xp service pack 2, and now when i click on a

option to 'save' or 'cancel.' i do not have the option to just open. can
anybody help?

2.Multiple Slide Masters - am I doing this right?

I need to create a PP presentation template for 2003.

We have a common theme to all slides in terms of font/bullet formatting.
But, there are about six "sections" to the presentation and each section uses
a different background image. Each "section" starts with a title slide.

I believe I need to create six sets of Slide Masters with Title masters to
accomodate this? And then the way for the end user to use it is to insert
new slides based on the desired layout, and then go to slide design and apply
the master for that section to the selected slide only?

Questions:
1) Is this the most effecient way to do this?
2) Once I create one Slide Master and Title Master in the set, is there a
way to create the others by copying it rather than starting from scratch for
the masters for each section?

TIA for any suggestions -- and please feel free to point me to some reading
material...
