Hi, Im MCMS 2002 there was a term called "Connected Templates" that allowed me to have the same information in two different postings, maybe with a different layout, but i modified one, the other one was updated automaticly. It was like the two pages where pointing to the same placeholder field of the database. Is there a way to do that in sharepoint 2007? We are building an intranet for a company that needs to have an "induction" section, it should contain little parts of the hole content of the different sections of the applications, so i was thinking maybe i can do something like connected templates, so the induction page can take some information from another section, for example the "Company's history" section. Is there a way to deal with that? will i have to develop this functionality? thank you very much Eli

Hi, I've searched the web for some time trying to find code that will let me select a particular site and load all of the document libraries contained in that site. I have a dropdownlist called ddlDocLists and when a user comes to a team site, ddlDocLists should contain all of the document libraries stored within the site. Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Saji

1.SharePoint 2007 - Audience Targeting - Domain Groups

I have a SharePoint 2007 site with its web parts protected with Audience
Targeting.
I've configured each of the web parts on my site to use audience targeting
so that only specific SharePoint groups can see specific web parts. The
membership of these groups consist of domain users and domain groups. The
targeting works fine for the domain USER members of the SharePoint groups.
However, the domain GROUP members can not see any of the web parts. How can I
setup SharePoint audience targeting so that I can maintain the targeted
membership using Active Directory groups? We want all group membership to be
maintained using Active Directory groups that are in turn members of
SharePoint groups defining the permissions and targetting.

Any advice would be appreciated.

4.Targeting: AD Groups in SharePoint Groups

I have SharePoint Groups corresponding to Active Directory Groups. I
have added the equivalent AD Group to the SharePoint Group. So, for
instance "SP_CUSTOMER1" contains "AD_CUSTOMER1" ...

Targeting doesn't work this way though! A user - member of the AD
group - cannot see items targeted to the SharePoint Group containing
the AD Group he is member of.

Does anyone have some info - I think I read it should be possible
somehow. But I have read of other people having this problem but not
read any answer to it yet - I hope someone here knows more...
