Best "Best Linker" Book?
by Thomas Dineen » Wed, 01 Sep 2004 03:32:29 GMT
Gentle People:
First, let me thank you all for your
answers to my previous post.
Now a question: Can any of you recommend
a UNIX Linker Book that covers in detail the
old SunOS 4 "UNIX a.out" Format, (not the current
ELF).
What about "Linkers and Loaders" by John Levine
is it detailed?
Thanks for the help.

2.BEST PERL BOOK FOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION UNIX
Greetings to PERL Programmers:
I've been an Unix System Administrator writing crude shell scripts for
the past 15 years. I never got into writing sophisticated scripting
with multiple looks for my jobs. I would like to use Perl scripts and
was wondering if there are any recommendations for a guy with my kind
of back ground. Any input from your guys would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hay trying to learn Linux. Is there a book that has a kind off windows
them? As in, it shows how to do things on Linux, which I would do on

Any other good books? Something form O'Riely perhaps?
