Hi. This is really driving me crazy. I have a custom stensil with a load of shapes in it, each representing functions in a system. These recur on mulpile pages within the visio document. If I change a master of the shape, I was expecting all of the instances to update. The process I'm following is: - drag shape from stensil group onto page 1 and again onto page 2 of a visio diagram. - right click the stensil and select 'edit stensil' - right click the shape in question and select 'edit master > edit master shape' - make the change/addition - press save - I then get the message: "Modifications made to a master open in a window will not be saved. Close the window and resave the drawing to record the modifications" > If I close the other window - everything closes, If I close and press save the instances don't update. Please please help. Matt

How do I add fill colours between lines in a graph?

Postby ZGVu » Fri, 05 May 2006 19:03:02 GMT

I drew a line graph and wanted to emphasise the difference between the two
lines by using a different colour. How can this be added? It is a dynamic
graph showing increases in two variables, which converge, but do not meet in
the last time period.

1.Filling colours in a floor plan

I putting together a floor plan, and i have created a bunch of rooms, and i
want to be able to fill in colours for different rooms, so we can show where
different group will be allocated to.

Also, is there a way to have the square footage of the room automatically
get calculated and be diplayed in the room that i have just drawn?

Thank You!!

2.Set the x, y values in line graph, draw line and derive data point

I am trying to create a line graph and set the x and y values with certain
amounts. I then would like to draw a line on the graph and have all the data
points (in which that line intersects) be created in a chart.

3.Fill in freehand graphs

Dearl all,

I have a need to fill-in color beneath a graph line and are unsure how to
proceed.

For instance, I have an X axis and a Y axis. Then I freehand draw (using
the Freeform Tool) a line starting halfway up the Y axis across the page. I
don't have specific values - this illustration is simply to indicate a
concept.

Once I have drawn the "squiggly" line above, I need to shade in the area
below it - between the squiggly line and the X axis.

How do I shade in this area??

Thanks

I want to make one solid line with 2 colours (green one on top, red
one on the bottom), but cant work out how to do it. I select line,
