  • 1. Paste Special+Link (for only a few objects)
Hi all, I know that I can Copy/Paste Special/Link an entire Visio drawing or a single object from a drawing, but when I try to do the same for a certain portion of my drawing, Visio will not allow me to do so. If I just want to copy and link, say, the top half of my drawing (copying and linking all objects and connectors from the top half) to another document, how would it be done? Thanks, Ivan

Is it possible to change the settings on folder and/or registery permissions
to allow a user to have full control of Small Business Accountting with out
giving them Administrator rights?

1.Moving Down From Navision 3.70 to SBA

We did a MBO a couple of years ago and as part of the process "inherited" our
ex parent company's Navision 3.70. It's now clear that the complexity (and
cost) of Navision is much more than we need either now or in the near future.

If we were to downscale to MBA, will be able to import any of historical
transaction and standing data from Navision, or will we have to set up
completely from scratch?

I realise that this is a complex question, but I'm really looking for
guidance as to whether in principle such a migration is possible and whether
MBA has any tools to assist in this.

Has anyone gone this route? I realise that normally its the otherway around
whereby companies move up to Navision / Dynamics.

Many thanks

2.Does SBA have a divisional chart of accounts?

I am looking for an accounting package for a small church that will let me
set up a divisional chart of accounts to do fund accounting. Can anyone tell
me if SBA fits this requirement? Or if anyone is using SBA for church
accounting and has developed any work arounds?

3.No permission on ITG provisioned SharePoint Beta

I get a credential dialog when I go out to my site set up a couple of weeks
or more ago. When attempting to set up another site, I get the same dialog
box prompting for my log in information. Any idea why?

4.Activision denies WOS's permission request

5.NTFS file permissions

as an administrator i have to draw some network diagrams. i found some
connectors for visio 2003, which can read an analyse the network. i also
planned to draw a diagram of the nfts-rights of our network shares. as i
dont want to do this by hand, i wondered whether a connector or a tool
exists, which can make my work easier.

Any expirience?

Thanks to all answers!
