  • 1. Autocad import error
I am evaluating Visio for possible purchase and have a downloaded trial version of Visio Professional 2003. I am trying to open or import Autocad files. Using either the Import - Cad drawings option, or just the Open option, I am still getting the error message about the files not being in .dwg or .dxf format or being corrupt. I have tried the suggestions in previous threads, including saving the files back at Autocad 2000, Autocad 2000 .dxf, or Autocad 2004 .dxf and still get the same error message. Am I missing something? I am a very new user. As in just today. I appreciate any suggestions, Thanks!!
  • 2. Landscape printing - Visio 2003
Hello .. I am brand new to Visio and apologise if this is the dumbest question ever .. I am trying to print in Landscape mode, have the printer settings correct as far as I can see, have the latest driver for my printer HP Deskjet 5740 but it keeps printing in Portrait mode. Also sometimes it prints and other times it doesn't ... strange or what? Some help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Abay
  • 3. kitchen equipment
Are there institutional kitchen equipment diagrams available through Visio?
  • 4. Easy view of pages
Hi, there. ---------- I've lookin on the internet and found nothing so I've got a question here: Are there any addons for Visio for easy view of pages index? I mean something like panel with list of all pages in opened document. I was thinking about something like that, because it is normal to me to have documents with 20-150 pages and navigation between them (using little bar with tabs at the bootom of screen) is horrible. Can You help me with that? P.S. The best way could be to use some macro or *.dll on freeware license (that is for my work). Thanks for all. -- with best regards: fenixproductions
  • 5. Toolbars won't stay in position as placed.
Every time I open Visio the toolbars are not as previously positioned. I would like to create a consistent layout so I can easily remember where a tool is located. I understand toolbars change, for example when I view a shapesheet, and that's ok. I currently place all frequently used toolbars together at the top of my drawings in the standard fashion using four rows. When I first open Visio there are large gaps and they are scattered. Any way to lock them into position? Thanks in advance. Visio Standard 2003 SP2 (11.5509.6568).
