Hi all, A general rectangle has five connection point, four at the corners and one at the center. • 2. Editing Shape text boxes when the Text Tool is selected
Hi, When I edit text associated with a Visio Shape whilst I have the Text Tool on the Standrd Toolbar selected the image on screen moves so that the text to be edited is at the bottom left corner of the screen. With any other Toolbar icons selected this does not happen. Is there a way of disabling this - other than never using the Text Tool? Help please. I am using a Corporate licenced version of Visio Pro 2003 SP1 (11.4301.6568)
  • 3. imbed excel cell text in a shape
I need to insert a number into a shape that corresponds to a cell in excel. Kinda like the exploded parts view in a car repair manual. A callout shape with a text value "123" that is linked to cell A1 in file ***.xls. It would be nice to be able to auto generate the callouts from the excel file. shape 123 is cell A1, shape 124 is cell A2 and so on. Thanks

The first thing to check is that you have Visio Professional and not
Standard. UML and the other software templates are only available in
Professional.

Does anyone know how to create a UML 2.0 'guard' loop notation between two

3.Stencils of common C++ STLs and C# common classes in UML notation

Hi

Does anyone know of a commercial or free library of existing Visio stencils
for common C++/C# classes (in UML) ?

That is on my UML class diagrams i want to be able to reference STL items
like a List or Array or Map.
I would like these utility classes to already exist so i can select them as
elements in the new classes .

I did a WEB search and came up empty.

Thanks

4.Crowfoot (Crowfeet) Notation used in MS Visio 2003

Hello,

I have been using Visio 2003 and Crowfeet notation to create my ER-Diagram.
However in literature I cannot find a source where it's being used.
Especially with the addition of 'identifying' and 'non-identyfying'
relationships.

I need to turn this in as coursework but I can't unless I reference a
source. (There is nothing on Microsoft's website or in the Visio
documentation.... :((
