  • 4. Add Last Edited Field to Document
Hi, I would like to know if there is a way for a non-developer to add a field for "last edited by" to a visio document. I need something that would update automatically every time a document was updated. I found insert Creator, but what I really need is to insert UserName, but apparently UserName can only be used through VBA scripting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

Changing rows in spreadsheet

Postby Terry Pinnell » Sun, 09 May 2004 15:39:53 GMT

In Visio 2000, I have a spreadsheet on a page. Several rows at the
bottom are blank. How do I remove them completely please? At present,
they remain as empty, with faint outlines, so waste much-needed space.

D-clicking the spreadsheet brings it up in a 'virtual' Excel window,
but nothing I do seems to get rid of the blank lines.

BTW, what is the 'correct' group for this sort of query please? I see
both microsoft.public.visio and microsoft.public.visio.troubleshoot
are used for 'problems'. Also, is it just my impression, or are many
questions never answered? Is there a shortage of experts on Visio?

I believe that you can "crop" the bottom of the spreadsheet using the Crop
tool

5.Converting a PolylineTo row to lineTo rows

Hi,

I need help again. I'm looking for a way to convert PolylineTo row to
lineTo rows, like Visio draws, because when I subtract 2 shapes with
one that is only a PolylineTo row, it can't iterate because the shape
is only build with 2 points.

Is there a way to read a polylineto row x,y coordinates, or another
way to draw polygon without "DrawPolyline" method that only create
PolylineTo row ?

Thanks,

Best Regards,

Clent.
