    HI, I'm drawing my project with visio 2003 UML. This file contains more than 15 pages and 200 classes(will be more and more) It's too slow when I save that page. Can I share my models(class architect) in my document with other document? And is there any way to share my document with other man so to write down simutanously and after that to merge all document in a file like cvs? Thanks in advance.

Counting only user defined cells if it contains a string (# & text

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for replying to this question.

Hi, I'd like to get an assistance in resolving this problem. Im tryin to
find out how could I count a user defined cells (6 rows) containing a string
(ex. 2435 Smith Dr) using a formula. Currently, I'm just entering the count
manually and I know there's a solution how to automate the counting. If the
cell is empty the value shold be returned for that cell must be 0 and if its
contain the string, its value must be 1..This is how I'm approacing it but it
doesn't work using the IF function....Thanks!

Perhaps you should have an empty string "" as the default, then you can use
IF(STRSAME(User.MyCell,""),0,0)

2.Counting User Defined Cells

How do you count user defined cells containing strings (ex: 1234 Smith Dr)?
I'm tryin to use the IF function but its doesn't work. If the cell is empty
it will return a value of 0 and if its filled the cell is equal to 1 so it
can be counted.

Are there ways how to do this? I;m just filli up the cells manually thru
data shapes entry. Thanks in advance!

3.Assign variable (string) to Value column of User Defined Cell

I am having difficulty assigning a string to the Value Column of a
User Defined Cell. I am trying to create a MACRO which will ask the
user to input text information into a form and then add that text to
the DOCUMENT level User Defined Cell (Value Column). I know the
column can take string because I can enter the text manually
("string"). I am setting the value of the form's text field to a
variable (As String) and then trying to set the cell's formula to the
variable. I get a runtime error saying "#NAME?". Here is my code:

Dim clienttext      As String
Dim projecttext     As String
Dim UndoScopeID1    As Long

clienttext = ClientTextBox.Text
projecttext = ProjectTextBox.Text

    'Insert row and enter data
    UndoScopeID1 = Application.BeginUndoScope("Insert Row")
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.AddRow visSectionUser, 0,
visTagDefault
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 2,
visUserValue).FormulaForceU = "0"
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 2,
visUserPrompt).FormulaForceU = """"""
    Application.EndUndoScope UndoScopeID1, True

    'Client Name
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 2,
visUserValue).RowNameU = "ClientName"
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 2,
visUserValue).FormulaU = clienttext
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 2,
visUserPrompt).FormulaU = ""

    'Insert Row and enter data
    UndoScopeID1 = Application.BeginUndoScope("Insert Row")
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.AddRow visSectionUser, 0,
visTagDefault
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 3,
visUserValue).FormulaForceU = "0"
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 3,
visUserPrompt).FormulaForceU = """"""
    Application.EndUndoScope UndoScopeID1, True

    'Project Name
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 3,
visUserValue).RowNameU = "ProjectName"
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 3,
visUserValue).FormulaU = projecttext
    Application.ActiveWindow.Shape.CellsSRC(visSectionUser, 3,
visUserPrompt).FormulaU = ""

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

5.Create a user-defined cell to display shape's layer name

How can I reference a shape's own layer name to display as a field?
Specifically, I want to create a text box with a custom formula or
user-defined field that display's that shape's one and only layer
name. I can display the layerMember index by using "=LayerMember", but
can't figure out the name. Please no VB/VBA.

Thanks.
