Hi there, I am very new to Visio and would appreciate some advice. I have to document the processes in an organisation, from marcro level to micro level. For example at macro level I have Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Ops and Admin. Within Procurement there would be maybe 3 processes. Do I put everything in one document or does each process be a document? If it's all in one document does Visio allow you to just print sub-processes? If each process is it's own document how can you print out the "Big Picture"? Any tips would be appreciated. Regards

I am using Visio 2003. I am trying to create an entity/relationship diagram
using the Database template. I have it set for Relational and to show Crow's
Feet. When I create a 1-many relationship, it is always created as a 0 or 1
to 0 or more. The relationship miscellaneous properties has a check box for
Child Has Parent, Optional, but it is grayed out and checked as optional. I
DO NOT WANT THIS. How can I get the check box enabled so I can set it how I
want it?

2.Database Shapes - Entity Relationship (US units) - Can't anchor Relationship shape on Entity shape

I reversed engineered a new Entity Diagram from an Oracle 9i Database in
Vision 2003 Pro. Starting out I could freely anchor Relationships from one
Entity to another assuming the proper relationships existed, but after a
while I was unable to anchor the Relationship shape to an Entity shape(i.e..
the Entity was not outlining itself in red). It simply stopped working.
Has anyone encountered this problem or is there a way to manually configure
a Relationship Shape?

There is a data model diagram created in Visio Standard 2007, which does not

and generally expand on it. Is this possible? I have tried to copy and paste
individual 'tables', but it does not paste anything. Do I have to re-enter
EVERYTHING? Thank you --
