I am looking for some Visio stencils of computer hardware components like CPU, memory, hard drive and cards. I found in Visio Basic Network shape it only has cards only. Is there anyone know where can I find them? Thank you very much.

I would like to use the off-page reference symbol (or some other means) and connect to a page on another drawing instead of a page on the same drawing.

I am creating a new Project Schedule, Calendar (US units) on Visio 2003 SP2. When I drag a Year shape onto my page, it should (and used to) automatically show me the Custom Properties dialog box to specify the year and other information. However, now when I drag a year shape onto my blank page, the dialog box does not display and only the first month is populated with the default 2003 information. Is there a setting turned off? Or is the dialog box possibly hidden somewhere? I can right click on the calendar to get to the custom properties where I can set it, but I want to know why it's not working as it used to. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi, MSDN lists that there is a corresponding CSIDL for "My Documents", "My Pictures", "My Videos" etc, they being CSIDL_MYDOCUMENTS, CSIDL_MYPICTURES, CSIDL_MYVIDEOS and so on. However it does not list corresponding ID for "My Shapes" created by Visio application. Please help me in this regards. Thanks and regards, Mandar

I am having trouble opening the trial version of Office & Visio

I downloaded both 2007 Office and 2007 Visio as a trial. I currently use
either XP student and home or professional (can't remember). Anyway, every
time I try to open the file, it starts, asks me if I want to run or save, and
then gets stuck in a loop. Any ideas?

If you have trouble installing the Trial versions, you might want to start
from a fresh boot of Windows, and ensure none of your currently installed
Office apps are running (even in the background).

Also, you can test the Office and Visio 2007 software online with a
high-speed connection.

5.Visio Control throws "Unspecified Error" if installed Visio version is Trial Version

Hi all,

I am using Visio 2007 in my application using VB.NET. Applications
run
normally on any machine which has licensed version of Visio 2007 but
if I run the same application on machine which has Trial version of
Visio 2007 Visio control throws "Unspecified Error".

I even tried to add control through code but it gives the same error.

Is there any way to check either installed Visio Version is Trial or
not or some other workaround to solve this problem?

Thanks

Asif
