I am using Visio2007 and have created a pivot diagram. I am trying to show a progress data bar but the max value is the same for each item. e.g. If I have 2 data columns (Target Revenue, Actual Revenue), how do I show the actual as a progress on the target revenue for that specific item?

Hopefully this is an easy question. I have a Visio 2003 drawing that I have embedded some VBA code in. I would like this drawing to load everytime I start Visio 2003 to automatically run these marcos, similiar to using a .dot in word or .xla in Excel or .ppa in PowerPoint. Can you do this with Visio 2003? If so, what format should you save the Visio document in and do where do you place it to load? I found the Tools - Options - Advanced - File Path button and set a StartUp location folder, placed a vsd file in there, but it did not load at startup. Any help would be appreciated. We upgraded to visio 2003 and when we opened the org charts created in visio 2002 the font was different, the shapes were different sizes, the connectors were off the page. Why? And what can we do other than recreate?

Thanks Al! I picked up on the duplicate function which allowed me to set each item differently. However, now when I refresh data to update the pivot diagram, the data graphics revert back to some previous state. How do I make the current graphics persist after data refresh? Thanks!

4.Using YRulerOrigin in Custom Formula?
I'd like to calculate the Y-position of a shape from the YRulerOrigin (I think, its the value from Tools|Ruler&Grid|Rulers|RulerZero| Vertical). Apparently the YRulerOrigin is a page object, I tried <PAGENAME>.YRulerOrigin to no avail. To be clear, I know the "absolute" location, but want to use the value from the "relative" position when the ruler origin is moved. TIA.

Hello People, I wish to build a Custom Data Graphic that gets displayed as a Data Bar - similar to the Percent Complete one that is shipped 'out of the box' but for use with a Gantt Chart Task Bar. But instead of the Data Bar being driven from 'percent complete' data - its size is driven from 'Start Date' and 'End Date' data. I've built a 'static' version of what I need using stuff from the Gantt Chart ShapeSheet, but would really like to be able to update Tasks, Milestones, Dates etc dynamically from Excel - just like can be done with the Data Bar %Complete. I'm not a programmer so any assistance/pointers greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Cam
