  • 1. Box problem
I create a text box and put a border around (Format | Line). When edit the text again in the same box, and add several more lines, the border does not expand to include the added lines. I cannot seem to make the border adapt to the content after it is created once.

I've been trying to use the Visio Website mapping feature on our WSS site and I can't seem to get the level of detail I want. Is there any information out there that will allow me to see the files in the document directories. I'm using this to try and compare the content of 2 Sharepoint sites before I create a new one. I'd like to use a site map for team members to locate information. I tried using FrontPage "Table of Contents" but you can't use that feature is running WSS. Any suggestions?

  • 5. example of erwin erx file to import into visio
Hi, I've been searching all over the internet but I don't seem to be able to find an example of an ERWin ERX file to import into Visio (2003 Enterprise). The reason is this: I'm not allowed to run SQL Server on my machine (so I can't generate a db diagram) but I AM allowed to run queries on the database including the systables. I want to run an XML query to show relationships/dependancies between tables and import the output of that query in Visio to generate an ER diagram. However, the only way to import a flat text file into Visio is to import an ERX file. Point is that I don't have a clue what these files should look like. Could you provide me with an example please? Or maybe you could advise me on doing things differently? thnx in advance regards marco

one technique might be to create a custom style that you can apply to your
documents when you open them. The catch is when you say "every" diagram
since templates and stencils would all have to be modifed as well which
probably isn't practical.

4.Setting Default Formatting for a Connector

Does anyone know how to set a default format for connectors? For line
formatting I know that you are supposed to make sure you don't have a shape
selected, go to Format - Line, select the formatting you want and click
Apply...every line that you add to the drawing thereafter has the default
formatting that was selected. I would like to do the same thing for
connectors - I want a default format option so that when I add a connector to
my drawing it is auto-formatted w/an arrow endpoint.

5.Setting default formatting for connections

I know that default formatting (arrow heads, pattern, color) can be
set for lines drawn with the line tool -- by deselecting all, doing
Format->Line, and setting the desired parameters. However, this
formatting doesn't apply to connections created with the connection
tool. Can the default formatting for connections be set somehow in a
similar fashion?
