  • 2. crash in memPartInfoGet
Hi All, I have a task which call memPartInfoGet() regularly, about once each 3 seconds. However, I found that the system is always crashed in memPartInfoGet of this task after running for a while. Any idea to resolve it, is it related to the memory allocate/free in my other codes, or vxWorks limitation? Thanks a lot! Jin
  • 3. VxWorks + Linux = etherOutput???
Hello Everyone I have until now worked on VxWorks but now I have been assigned a project with embedded Linux instead. I am writing to this group since I believe that there are other people who also switch between different OS's as well. My question is as follows: I have a application that runs well on VxWorks, it uses the etherOutput() API to send out a frame |ethernet|IP|UDP|. Now I need to port the same application to Linux and I want to know if there is a similar API available under Linux? Regards Andreas

Dear all,
I am working on MPC850 target baord , it has 2 serial ports , one of
the serial port is initialized for debug purpose in BSP, in my
application if i try to initialize the other serial port using "open"
command I am not able to do so, kindly help me to initialize the other
serial port in my application code, I am not able to modify the BSP
also

I figured it out that i should create the drive using ttyDrvCreate but
i am confused

Suppose BSP already initialized it, you should drive the 2nd port also.
