1.service do not "stay" started
Hello:
I have successfully added a printer to Windows Vista Business. No errors.
But, I cannot get anything to print to the printer. The Spooler Service
keeps stopping, despite the fact that I can successfully start it.
I am logged in as the Domain Administrator since I added the computer to the
domain. But, I have the Spooler Service started with the Local System
account.
I don't know if it is related or not. But, the funny thing is that the time
of day will not "stay" either. I keep having to go into the Control Panel
and change the time to the correct time.
I have downloaded all of the updates. How do I get Vista's services to
"stick"?
The big thing is that I gotta get the printing working. I don't understand
why Vista won't let me print if it did not have a problem with my adding the
printer.
Again, the Spooler Service keep turning off. It is set to "Automatic".

2.'admin/services' do not stay 'started' - PLEASE HELP -
I keep trying to install XP-MCE 2005 on my PC and when it finally loads all
up properly, there are 'services' that I have to turn on (Control
Panel/Administrative Tools/Services - Local) myself. Regardless of whether
the service is set to 'manual' or 'automatic', they are all off until I
'start' them myself. Then when I reboot, they are ALL turned off again, and I
have to go in and reset each of them again. Can anyone tell me if there is a
way to 'lock' them in the start position? This happens to about every
service including things as simple as 'Themes' right down to the 'Print
Spooler'. I don't want to turn off or restart my computer because it's a pain
to re-'start' all those services every time.
3.Windows Audio Service will not stay started.
With windows xp pro sp2....
The Windows Audio service will not start on boot, it is set to automatic and
there is no GP limiting it. Drivers are fine and if you manually start the
service sound works.
Any ideas to fix this?
4.service "computer browser" will not stay started

Do a net start "computer browser" and it works. It's set to Automatic
