  • 3. Client Access License "what is it for?"
Hi All, I have recently bought a client access license for the windows 200 server family an OEM product. I thought it would allow me to use some pre installed windows 2000 software that is set up on a server I am leaseing from uk2.net. But they say it is of no use! The company I bought the license off say they cannot refund my money because i opened the envelope to view the license( I had to scan it to show UK2.net. I am now stuck with what appears to be a worthless bit of plastic stuck to a piece of paper!! which cost me 117uk pounds?! Where do i go from here? Colin

Google & Yahoo Search Engine won't work. I used FixAHost, Hijackthis, Spybot-Search & Destroy, even TDS-3. Please Help out any other solution you may have. Thank you all. Well, the error is "not be found" in yahoo engine. And "there is no website configured at this address" in google engine. However, I am able to use netscape search engine, exite, and others. Both of my Windows XP, and Windows 2000 have been affected. Please Help.

When you right-click and then drag the shortcuts that you want to copy to the Quick Launch portion of the taskbar (the Quick Launch bar), a message pops up saying " Windows cannot create a shortcut here. QUERY: east/asian language support for English Windows 2000

Postby KevinGPO » Wed, 14 Dec 2005 20:38:02 GMT

I've got Windows 2000 Advanced Server English version. However I remember
reading/hearing that the 2000 versions were suppose to be international with
multi-lingual support - like the XP versions. Is it possible to install
East/Asian language support for Windows 2000? I have searched through
Control Panel and still cannot find any option to install East/Asian
language support.

Where can I get East/Asian language support for Windows 2000 easily?

It depends on what you want to do. See if this can be of any help:

If you want the operating system to have East Asian interface then you
need a localized version od Windows 2000, see here:
