Hi, all I have a WinCE terminal for Web Service. It works fine(checked basic operation). And I need to send and receive data b/w Web Server & other UI program. Actually, the data is coming from web client PC. What's the best way to do this? Registry? File? or Tcp/Ip Socket communication? .Asp? .Jsp? I'm not familiar with these stuffs(I'm an embedded s/w Eng'r). Could somebody help me out with this? Thanks & regards, BM ps: sorry for my poor English!

Hello, I would like to use an external serial modem with a windows CE 5.0 device. I can access the com port, and send AT commands. I have configured an RAS connection, but I don't know how to say to the device there is a modem connected to the com port. The rasdial fonction returns error code 608 (device does not exist). Hi I have empty folders that i would like to copy from my mobile device to my desktop. This is what i have: "cecopy" /is /s dev:\application\*.* desk:\DCPAPPBuilt However this command will not copy the empty folders that are in my application folder. For instance i want to copy application\abc folder. The abc folder never gets copied, in fact i get cecopy error from this (if there are empty folders in the directy). How would i be able to copy the abc folder along with the other files and folders using cecopy? Thanks for the help! - 4. mount CE volume under XP?
Hi, Just wondering if it's possible to mount and view files from a CE drive (connect via USB). Having trouble with a device and pulled the drive so that I could copy the data from it, thinking it would mount under XP in explorer. WinCE has had a Web Server available since CE 3.0. Based on what I know about your scenario, I would recommend an ISAPI. How to display the live video in application side. I am totally new to MFC. Suggest the steps to display the video data inside the rectangle which i created in MFC application. 4.Restoring Application Data and Local Settings\Application Data
I have been searching for the answer to this question, but I'm unable to find any satisfactory information. I did a complete format and reinstall of windows xp. I have all of my Application Data and Local Settings\Application Data backed up. I know I can selectively restore some of the settings and information, but I was wondering if I could simply copy the backup folders in totality and be done with it. I have made extensive customizations to most of my applications and I already have at least 3 days of reinstallation to do with default settings. It will take me at least that many more if I have to recustomize everything. And if I can restore the settings this way, can I do it before I reinstall all programs, or should I wait until I restore the program before restoring the settings?
