Hello all... Does anyone know if it is possible to create a new playlist or modify the existing playlist through JavaScript manipulation of an embedded player? I know how to dynamically generate the playlist on the server side, but that is not what I want in this case. I want to change the current playlist on the client side. As an example, I would like to have something like the following work: var myMedia = Player.newMedia(mediaURL); var myPlaylist = Player.newPlaylist("myStuff", ""); myPlaylist.appendItem(myMedia); Player.currentPlaylist = myPlaylist; Player.controls.play(); The only way I can get it to work is if I add the request for access rights from the user, like this: if ("full" != Player.settings.mediaAccessRights) { Player.settings.requestMediaAccessRights("full"); } var myMedia = Player.newMedia(mediaURL); var myPlaylist = Player.newPlaylist("myStuff", ""); myPlaylist.appendItem(myMedia); Player.currentPlaylist = myPlaylist; Player.controls.play(); Is there any way to create a temporary local playlist and manipulate that without violating these access rights or prompting the user?
