1. Problem with Receiving Windows Mail in One User Area
I have two computers. One is routed to the other. In my first computer, there are two users. I am the Administrator. In the second computer, there are three users, the same two names as on my first computer, a third named as the Administrator. On my second, routed computer, in only one User, when I click on Send and Receive, up comes a box asking me to connect using a Dial-Up Connection. I don't use a dial-up connection on these computers; I have a wireless connection. I've checked the properties of my wireless connection, and there seems to be no problem. What steps can I take to stop this Dial-Up Connection box from popping up so I can send and receive my Windows Mail on my second computer?
2. can't send mail through windows mail
I know I'm a dope. Know it's my problem, but still can't figure it out. Can't send messages. Get this error message: Subject 'fax', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

L.s.,

I have exported all messages from my old notebook with outlook express (as 
dbx files) tot a USB stick and tried to import these dbx files into windows 
mail on my new notebook with windows vista.  However windows vista does not 
find the dbx files even if I select in the box "outlook express" .

Who kwos the solution to this problem?

LOL....
copy the .dbx files to the Vista computer
open WM, File - Import
just don't open the folder the .dbx files are in.

2.trying to import mail to Outlook express 6 from mail storage\.dbx

I am trying to use the import wizard to get mail that was deleated and from 
what i have read should be no problem, but i keep getting a msg that says 
that the files are in use by another program and cannot be imported, plz

I've read all of the posts here and not one of them help at all.

I'm looking on how to import outlook express email accounts into
windows mail. I can import the email messages just fine, but not
my 15 email accounts.

I have created a folder and stored this onto the windows vista
machine, named: Outlook Express Email Accounts.

When I go to: Tools => Accounts => Import. A box appears
that says "Import Internet Account".

I select one of the Outlook Express 6's *.iaf files and I constantly 
get this error: "The import did not complete because an error occurred."

What's causing this and how do I fix this frustrating problem.

Thanks kindly for any imformative solutions you can provide.

4.Outlook Express .DBX file import?

Can anyone advise how to import messages from an OE DBX file into Outlook 
2007?  OL 2007 only gets me as far as selecting the folder where the .DBX 
file is located but then it says it hasn't found any messages to import. 
Help please, there is information in these .DBX files that I need!  The new 
Windows Mail won't import the files either.  Thanks all.
