When I try to load a game at Pogo.com, it never loads. It shows "action cancellled" where the ad's should be. The new window opens and says its loading but never does. I went to the Bedazzled game and was able to play it but could not see the pics or banners or ads on the right of the page. I've already done everything and am lost. Please help Gigg :)

"Rachel" < XXXX@XXXXX.COM > wrote in message news: XXXX@XXXXX.COM ... > I keep getting told that my local area network has a cable which is unplugged, or something like that. I have no idea what this means. Is it an actual cable that goes into the back of the machine? Is it something to do with the phone company? Is this the reason my family can't play online games? Can I plug it in? > Also for some reason all my stuff is now in italics, all the web stuff and emails and everything. Although I suppose thats not important I find it a bit annoying. Anybody able to advise me? Thank you very much. It's saying that a network cable is installed. You may have one, you may not. It looks sort of like a standard phone jack, but it's slightly larger.
  • 3. Backing Up my Computer ????
How do I back up my computer? I'm running XP. When I go under START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS there wasn't any program for back up. I searched my computer and found a NT Backup. I installed that but when I try to use the wizard it gives me an error at the end. The error says " The files for the recovery diskette could not be created. The operation was aborted." Where can I find a program to back up my computer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom
  • 4. Slave drive not initialized after xp reinstall. Contains data!
I have two WD 40g drives. Both were working fine, but I needed to do a clean xp reinstall on drive c. Backed up Important files to slave, and reinstalled xp. Slave shows in bios and disk mangement: "Disk 1 unknown 37.27 gb not initialized. Unallocated. This slave was previously partioned in dos with the western digital data lifeguard tools as NTFS so I can't get to it in dos. Of course, I need the data on the drive. I have searched the net amd this forum without locating a solution this particular problem, other than an accurate mention on the WD site pointing me to Microsoft. How can I initialize this drive or otherwise have it recognized by windows without loosing data? Will using the initialize feature of disk mangement destroy the data? What is the best way to retrieve this data? Thank you Jim

I've tried regsvr32 regwizc.dll and regsvr32 licdll.dll to get the activation
warning
to go away but it just wont even though windows acknowledges that they were
successful when I run them. What do I do now? I have one day left before I
have to re-install yet again

Well, there are plenty of archived discussions on the subject. Limit
your search to the threads with more than one author. Try changing the
parameters of the search to increase the quality or quantity of the
results. I hope this helps.

3.dll registration fails when calling "regsvr32 MyFile.dll" from DOS or run command

I have a dll that its registration fails often (calling "regsvr32
MyFile.dll" from DOS or run command). However, if I associate
c:\winnt\system32\regsvr32.exe to it and then double click it, it always
succeed.

If you can explain this strange behavior please do. If not I would
appreciate a code sample that can do this file association between my dll
and regsvr32). I the association should only be for this specific dll and
not for all dlls

Thanks

Avi
