  • 1. Why doesn't AutoPlay work on my card reader anymore?
When I insert my compact flash card into my card reader, I used to get a dialog box that I could use to download my pictures. It gave me several options. Now, the dialog box comes up but with no options. I go into the properties for the autoplay on the card reader and there are not any choices there either. Any ideas? To my knowledge, I have not made any hardware changes or major software changes. Thanks for your help.

How can I delete a desktop background picture that I installed from a photo that I had in "my pictures folder" without deleteing the picture from the "my picture folder?"

I used to get the Scanner/Camera Wizard when I plugged in my USB Cyber-shot camera, now it just opens a directory. I found that the installation of PhotoShop 7 caused this and I uninstalled it. The Scanner/Camera wizard worked again. Now suddenly it stopped again and I get the directory. The Wizard allows me to name the pictures as I get them off the camera and allows me to delete them all at once. Dave

Hi. I am hoping someone can help me with the Sandisk photo reader. I had my system reformatted recently and since then whenever I save photos, they not only save to my pictures folder, but also show up in my display as wallpaper. I don't want to have them as wallpaper. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I'm sure it's something simple, I just can't figure it out. HELP Please? Thanks, Vanessa

==========================================
I guess you're running WinXP or you wouldn't
be here...right?

OK, go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

 http://www.**--****.com/

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures. You can select one
image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.

BTW...when resizing if you go to...Advanced
Button / Custom...and enter 640 in each field...
that will be a good size for e-mail purposes.
