  • 1. video card HELP!
I recently upgraded my video card on my Dell (Pentium 4, windows xp media center). The computer came with a "ATI All in Wonder 9000" video card that I was not happy with so I purchased a "ATI All in Wonder 9800pro" video card that has a great picture but the Windows xp Media Center is not compatible with. I talked with ATI and they said it was a software problem, that the video card was too new for the software. I also talked with Dell and I know more than most of them do about computers and that is not saying much. Can anybody help me. Thank You.

why does the windows media player only play the sound and show the blue flame instead of the video?

Whenever I switch to the Settings tab for Display properties it tells me that the current driver is not compatible. It states that it was written for an earlier version of Windows yet I have not changed it (at least that I am aware of). I have an ATI card that keeps using a Radeon FSC driver. Can anyone help me get the correct driver or point me to somewhere where I may be able to get it from...

I attempted to install the software and my sony dvd camcorder on my computer and it will not recognize it. When I go to device manager it is an empty window. I tried to install the camera on my laptop computer as well and the same thing happened. I've uninstalled the software and drivers and the device manager is still empty. Has anyone experienced this thanks

JPEG picture capture

Postby Mike Turner » Wed, 12 Nov 2003 12:26:11 GMT

Running a p4 1.8, with 512 RAM, continually freezes the
Moviemaker app when trying to capture a JPEG picture from
one of my clips/movies. Anyone else having this problem
or is it simply not enough RAM.

Thanks

1.Invisibility of JPEG and other picture files in My Pictures folder

My Pictures does not show some pictures I want to save in that folder.
Occasionally, I modify a picture from my camera, or save a cartoon, and put
it into My Pictures.
However, when I go to insert the picture into another document like an
email, or try to use it for my display screen, it is not there. The odd
thing, is when I do a Search, it shows up as being in the My Folders file,
exactly where I saved it. I have worked around this by copying the version I
found in Search to my Desktop, from which I can now paste it into my document
or use it for my display wallpaper.
My OS is XP.
Does anyone have a clue what is happening here?
