  • 1. msgsrv32
Upon restarting my computer last week I got this error message: Msgsrv32 caused an exception in 1OH module devcon32.dll at 0167:100127dc. I haven't been able to find any information on this particular code. The first time this happened I restarted my computer twice and it happened to work. Now it doesn't matter how many times I restart; I have nothing. After I close this message I can see my desktop, but no programs are available and I can not enter the start menu or basically do anything but stare at the pretty screen and look stupid. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, JOSH
  • 2. ActiveX
I accidentally deleted my ActiveX while trying to get rid of some spyware that had attached itself to my computer. I thought acitvex was part of the spyware. I have no idea how to get it back, which disc it may be on or anything.Any help would be appreciated..thank you...you may email me at XXXX@XXXXX.COM
  • 3. max memory that works best
what is the max memory that works best with win98 and at what point does win98 ignore the rest of the memory. Too much memory slows the computer down.
  • 4. homepage problems
Everytime I connect to the internet, my homepage always ends up being a search engine titled "about:blank." This happens even after I run my virus protection, ad-aware, spybot, and shredder. I also go to tools and reset my homepage, but with no luck.

Hi,

You would do better to post this on one of the Word or MS Office
newsgroups.
